Julio Amo, Managing Partner, founded the Spanish offices in 1980. Julio has an extensive experience of more than 30 years in executive search and has completed senior level searches for clients in the Consumer; Financial Services, Fine Chemicals, Industrial, Life Sciences and Sports Goods sectors, as well as in Board Member Recruitment and Corporate Government Consultancy. Julio previously worked in Sema Consulting Group for seven years. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Catalunya as well as a degree in Psychology from the Universidad de Madrid. Ladislao Bustamante joined TRANSEARCH in 2010 as the partner in charge of the Madrid office. Before entering executive search, he was the main executive of Fides Capital (a Spanish private equity company) since its foundation, and was promoted to managing partner and CEO. Ladislao started his career with Deloitte & Touche, where he operated in the audit and corporate finance departments. He then joined Mercapital, one of the leading Spanish private equity houses. He has been a Board Member at RBC Dexia Investor Services Spain, and other financial and industrial companies. Ladislao holds an MBA from INSEAD and is a Graduate in Business Sciences from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid (CUNEF), majors in audit and finance. He is also a Graduate in Law from UNED. He speaks spanish, english and french.

Javier Fernández-Luna joined Transearch in 2011 as partner at the Madrid Office. Prior to enter executive search he developed most of his professional career in Accenture, where he started in the Arthur Andersen Legal and Tax Division. Once promoted to partner, Javier incorporated and managed Business Consulting Practices (Strategy and Change Management), first in Spain and Portugal and later in SPAILA (Spain, Portugal, Israel, Latin America and Africa). He has been member of the Spain and Portugal Country Council and the SPAILA Operations Committee. He retired from Accenture in 2006 and since then focused his activity in investment management and private equity. Javier has Degrees in Law and Economics (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) and holds an MBA from IESE, Barcelona. He speaks spanish and english.
